Our pediatric behavioral health services

We offer a variety of therapies to help your child, including a pediatric inpatient mental health program, which allows your child to get focused, one on one support.

Inpatient pediatric mental health services

Our hospital is proud to offer the region's only inpatient mental health program specifically designed for children and adolescents. This program focuses on young people who may be suffering from severe emotional disturbances or other mental health-related issues. In this program, we offer intensive supervision, help with medication, personalized therapy and evaluation of any additional issues. We also offer specially dedicated beds for children ages 4 to 11, and a separate unit for adolescents ages 12 to 18.

Our inpatient unit provides a range of therapies to help your child, including:

  • Activity therapy
  • Art therapy
  • Group therapy
  • Individual therapy
  • Music therapy
  • Pet therapy
  • Psycho-educational groups
  • Psychopharmacology-medication therapy
  • Relaxation therapy
  • Skills development with wellness-centered models

We also provide patient and family education to help your family better understand your child's needs.
