- Mission Health has the only heart program in the Carolinas and neighboring states to receive three stars in CABG and CABG/AVR, the highest rating from The Society of Thoracic Surgeons
- Mission Heart Care earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval--Cardiac Surgery Program for meeting national standards for healthcare, as well as quality and safety in the care of patients undergoing coronary artery bypass surgery. Mission was the first program in the state of North Carolina to receive this designation.
- The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® and the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Heart-Check mark for Advanced Certification for Comprehensive Stroke Centers in 2022
