Mission Pharmacy

Mission Pharmacy currently serves patients and employees alike at locations throughout Western North Carolina in Buncombe, Mitchell and Haywood counties. The pharmacies have strong partnerships with our outpatient clinics and practices to ensure that you receive the highest quality pharmacy care.

Acute care services

Acute care inpatient pharmacy services at our hospitals are based on an integrated model that puts your needs above all. Our pharmacists are responsible for both the clinical and distributive activities of the pharmacy, while being organized into clinical service lines that develop extensive, specialized knowledge related to their respective disciplines.

Ambulatory services

Our Outpatient Clinical Pharmacy Services department is staffed by clinical pharmacists who work to help you gain a greater understanding of your medications. They also promote overall health and wellness through collaboration with you, your family and your provider.

Outpatient Clinical Pharmacy Services focuses on medication therapy management and education, while facilitating continuity of care through medication access assistance, adherence and reconciliation during transitions in care. Additionally, these dedicated clinical pharmacists provide panel management and complex drug therapy management by referral.
