Diagnostics and laboratory

Diagnostic and laboratory testing helps us identify health issues and further understand your condition. We may collect information from minor procedures, such as biopsies, or by performing blood tests and taking urine samples.

Attentive hospital laboratory services

We complete lab tests in settings that are safe and comfortable for you.

In Mission Health's labs, our technicians perform a variety of services that help your physician diagnose your condition or monitor your care. Serving Western North Carolina, our goal is to help you get a precise evaluation and effective, personalized treatment.

Our diagnostic laboratory program

Getting an accurate evaluation begins with diagnostic exams. Our labs help your physician provide you with the answers and treatment you need.

Pediatric laboratory services

Our children's outpatient lab, Reuter Outpatient Center operates out of Mission Children's Hospital, located on the campus of Mission Hospital. Here, we provide follow-up care, in addition to seeing children from the region's various pediatric and family practices. This lab provides minimal wait times for routine tests in a child-friendly space, and can have most results back to the ordering physician by the next business day.

If you have questions or need more information, please talk with one of our team members at (828) 213-9752 or (828) 213-9751.
