Blue Ridge Regional Hospital is proud to support the Williams YMCA of Avery County with this donation of $25,000. The donation will support the construction of their new daycare facility and the Arthur Youth Center.

“Caring for patients is only part of what we do,” said Dr. Tonia W. Hale, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Nursing Officer for Blue Ridge Regional Hospital. “Our care extends beyond the walls of our facilities and into our communities through partnerships with organizations like The Williams YMCA of Avery County.”

The construction of the YMCA daycare facility will address one of our community’s greatest needs for reliable and quality childcare services and the youth center will serve grades 3-5 in Summer Camp and will serve as a middle school hub after school with opportunities ranging from athletics, to robotics, theater and the arts.
